What’s in My Carry On Bag?

Hey you guys. I’m going to be continuing with talking about my travels and all. So today I’m going to be showing you what’s in my carry on bag. Then on Friday, I’ll most likely have an outfit post like normal, however, that may change. Anyway, let’s get on with this post. I got on Polyvore today to basically simulate what garments I’m taking with me to on my trip. I seriously thought this would be easier than taking my own pictures, but boy was I wrong. Next time I travel, I will be taking my own pictures for sure! Some garments pictured are the actual garments, but some are not.

Altogether, I am bringing 20 items with me, not including undies, bralettes, and bras. Let’s break that down:

6 tops (two tees, two muscle tees, one tank, one l/s shirt)

4 bottoms (leggings, boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans, shorts)

4 dresses (two tee dresses, two going out dresses)

3 pairs of shoes (boots, heels, sneakers)

3 jackets (leather jacket, cardigan, cropped denim jacket)

Currently, the weather in Spain is pretty hot during the day and then very cool at night. Specifically, in Seville, it’s been reaching about 90 degrees…so I’m going to need some wiggle room as far as my outfits go. However, I still don’t think I over packed at all. If I under packed, I can still shop while I’m there. I’m pretty content with what I’m taking, especially the black tee – let me explain.

A black tee can go from day into night in my opinion. So those nights I’m not going out I can purchase a skirt and a nice scarf and pair it with my tee. I could even knot the tee in the front or the back to make it slightly cropped. I feel like my options are pretty endless with a simple black tee if styled correctly.

So a little bit about my favorite items that I’m bringing, now. My boyfriend jeans are a fave because they’re so easy to style! I can wear them with all the shoes I’m bringing and they can go into the night with any of my tees or muscle tees! The blue dress I love because its so simple and I can pair it with my Vans. This can also go into the night with a leather jacket and my heels or boots. I’ve been obsessed with the Au Revoir tee since I first saw it online at Madewell. I said I was going to purchase it and I finally did last week. It’s very thick but soft and breathable. This will probably be my “touristy” outfit! My Vans are a favorite because they’re Vans and I will probably be in them the most.

I couldn’t forget about the outfit I’ll be flying in! I’ll be in gray joggers and a simple white tee and my Vans. Then I’m going to wear my cardigan so that I do not get cold on the plane. I want to be as comfortable as possible and this is probably the most comfortable outfit I own. I’m here for it! I may switch to my rose pink joggers (just as comfy) so that I can arrive in style at the very least.

That is all for this post I hope that you guys enjoy it! Thanks for reading
