A Month of Outfits: January 2022

Hello and welcome back! Can you believe it’s already February?! I just know this year is going to fly by, but it’s going to be a good year! *crosses fingers* Anyway, I promised blog posts about the outfits I wore throughout the month and I always keep my promises. So here are January’s outfits! By the way, these aren’t the only outfits I wore the whole month – I’m just showing you all my favorites.

Little black dresses are one of my favorite fashion garments ever. You can truly never go wrong in a little black dress – short or long. I love pairing my LBD’s with boots or sneakers but there’s nothing wrong with a heel either. In 2022, I think I want more little black dresses in my wardrobe.

Co-ords are still such an underrated trend in my wardrobe and I truly wish I had more. I have a hard time finding ones like above that are actually flattering though. Also, sometimes co-ords are not as comfortable as they look too. However, this one is pretty decent – although slightly itchy. I’d love to find a less itchy one in the future to just lounge around in at home.

You guys already know I’m joggers obsessed. I don’t need to go into detail about that. These joggers are from a local brand I’m currently working with. I don’t typically do ambassador programs with brands but I decided to, simply because they’re small and local to me. These joggers are great though! I’m wearing them as I’m typing this all out. They’re very fitted in the booty area, but I’m not complaining.

Another outfit with jeans! Who am I? I won’t lie, jeans can be really easy when you don’t know what to wear. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of all my jeans last year after all. Hoodie sweaters are just *chef’s kiss* in my book. You guys are going to be seeing a lot of Aritzia from me this year because everything in that store is just…amazing. I’m going to write a whole separate blog post about that store. Stay tuned!

Yup, another Aritizia garment. I needed a nice dress that just skimmed my body and they had it…so I had to. And again, yes, that is the SuperPuff coat. It’s incredibly warm and incredibly cute. I used to want a coat like this back in high school and all these years later, I have one. But back to this dress! It’s a whole vibe and I can’t believe that’s me in the above photo. For years, I’ve been looking for garments that made me look close to my age – who knew it would be a midi-dress with a deep-ish neckline? With that said, I’m getting more dresses like this in the next few weeks/months!

I know that wasn’t a whole lot of outfits this month, but I honestly stayed home most of the time. It’s cold, there’s still a pandemic, and I’m running a business so there’s really nowhere else for me to be these days. Maybe February will be a little different! Until next time.
