Lockdown Outfits to Lounge Around In

Before this whole (in my best Card B voice) Coronavirus mess, I had this brilliant idea to buy several loungewear pieces. I went ham at Missguided (still am) and purchased all their amazing two-piece sets – joggers sets of course. Little did I know we would be on a mandatory lockdown just weeks after I made my first purchase. I had plans to take photos in my new spring loungewear fits in the city and now…well I guess I have to settle for some spots in my neighborhood and my home. It’s not all bad, I was kind of ahead of the game when it came to buying loungewear. Silver linings I suppose.

I pretty much started this season out wanting to wear more white. I talked about this in my How to Update & Elevate Your Style post. I’m so glad I was bold enough to not only purchase more white garments but actually wear them. Anyway, I purchased a white two-piece jogger short set and you can say that it is my favorite thing to wear around the house right now. It’s so light and airy and CUTE. On a warmer spring day, I can probably wear this out and about as well; maybe with an oversized denim jacket.

Even though I’m feeling the color white this season, I had to get a black set but only with a more fitted top. On a day where it gets warmer, you can guarantee I’m pulling this set out. I can’t wait for my family’s backyard to be finished so we can sip Pina Coladas and lounge in the sun regardless if we’re on lockdown or not.

While joggers are the perfect garment to lounge in, I think really soft leggings are just as good. Since I’m keeping things neutral, I had to get a set in gray. I know I said I wouldn’t be getting as much gray, but I couldn’t resist. I also think the other colors were sold out if I’m not mistaken. This is a close second favorite due to how easy it is to just get up and run to the grocery store if I have to.

Of course, all of these sets can be mixed and matched and that’s what really makes these so great. I basically have 9 different outfits if I decide to mismatch the colors. Yay for neutrals right?

I hope everyone is making the best of this whole quarantine situation because after almost a month now (for some of us), it’s hard but necessary. I hope this post may have helped anyone out there to get some cute loungewear or at the very least, get inspired.
