Gift Guide: Kitchen Edition
Lately, I’ve been into kitchenware or kitchen accessories and I just realized how amazing it can be especially if you give kitchenware as gifts. I’ve been putting together so many blog posts and so many guides for you all and I’m finally ready to share. Yes, ya girl has been batching her work and it’s time to showcase it. Keep on reading if you need some great ideas for what gifts to buy someone for Christmas or a birthday.
Mugs, Travelers/Reusable Cups
One of my favorite gifts to buy friends and family is mugs. You can never ever go wrong with mugs, there will always be a use for them. Even if the receiver of the gift isn’t a coffee or tea drinker, they will enjoy a mug especially if it has something funny or cute on it. My favorite right now is the double-walled William and Sonoma mug. I love being able to see right into my tea for some odd reason. If your friend or a family member has way too many mugs already, then go for the traveling thermos. Starbucks just released their holiday cups and they go pretty fast. My best tip for snagging a holiday cup from the Siren is to go to Target or a grocery store that has a Starbucks inside. They always have leftovers. 😉
Candles/DiffusersÂ
I think every kitchen (and home in general) needs a yummy smelling candle or diffuser. So many scents can accumulate in the kitchen from the trash to cooking certain foods so it’s always nice to be able to light a candle or set up an oil diffuser to keep the not-so-great smells away. I personally love sweet or candylike scents in both the kitchen and my bedroom. I recently made an impulsive purchase of a candle from Anthropologie (pictured below) and I think it would make an amazing fragrance in anyone’s house. All of my friends are getting a candle from the line Boulangerie because they smell freakin amazing AND they’re clean-burning candles. Keep this brand in mind when you’re out there shopping this season.
Glassware
I know this seems pretty similar to mugs and travelers, but getting someone glassware could be a bit of an overstep. If you’re around my age (mid-twenties) then a good portion of your friends are moving into their own places or buying their first house, so they may need some ideas or a little help in the kitchenware department. If you’re well past the age of giving someone their first or second set of glassware, then maybe a pair or set of champagne flutes will suffice. No home can have too many champagne flutes!
I hope these gift ideas are something that you all would consider giving to a friend or family member. I’ll be attempting to post gift guides weekly or every other week so stay tuned especially for the beauty and skincare edition! Thanks for reading.
Always,
ChelsiKay
