What I got for Christmas 2017

Merry Christmas everyone…well belated Christmas! I hope everyone was able to spend time with their friends and family! I probably would have posted earlier in the day today, but I’m on a mission to find the perfect wool coat for the winter without breaking the bank. Anyway, that isn’t really what this post is about today. I actually would like to talk about some of the gifts that I received from my family.

The reason for my sharing my gifts is because I’m pretty sure you all will see these over and over again throughout the upcoming year on the blog and Instagram. So let’s just get started before it gets late.

So, I know you guys have seen this before! This was featured in my Book Gift Guide Under $25 and I also gave it to one of my friends. Then I ended up with it on Christmas Day and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I really enjoy writing and definitely making lists, so I’m excited to get started in this weekly journal. I may even incorporate it on the blog depending on the topic of the week.

So, not only do I love giving books as gifts, I also love receiving them. In school, my favorite subject was American History. I can’t tell you why exactly, but I enjoy learning new things about our history. So this gift will probably come in handy one day…maybe I’ll be on Jeopardy.

Yes, I got this lovely AllSaints tote for Christmas. I basically screamed and smiled for the rest of the day. I’m still excited about it because it’ll OBVIOUSLY be in so many of my outfit posts. I’ll probably make a separate post about it sometime soon. I’m still screaming internally right now!

Ok, so I’m VERY excited about this gift because it’s basically a bullet journal, but everything is already done for me. I started bullet journaling earlier this year and I just got so caught up with the layout that I just kind of stopped. I did get a planner for my birthday, but honestly, that comes in handy for work more so than my personal life. You guys will definitely be seeing more planning post in the new year, so get ready for that!

Well, that’s what I got for Christmas this year and I am so grateful of course for the gifts, but also for being able to spend the holidays with my family. Each year, I cherish this time more and more!

Thanks for reading,

ChelsiKay
