Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer
Hello there, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving or a great day off this year! I know it’s Friday and I’m posting off schedule (gasp) but I don’t usually post on holidays where I’m spending time with family. I thought this post would be a great follow up to my last post about shopping mindfully. If you haven’t read about that yet, go ahead and check it out!
Recently, I purchased my first luxury makeup item. In the past, I have used Tom Ford makeup, but I didn’t purchase that myself. Now, this really wasn’t a huge purchase or anything because it’s definitely just a concealer, but it’s a huge step up from what I normally use.
During Sephora’s yearly VIB sale, I decided it would be a good time to buy the Dior Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer. I mean I had to put that 20% off sale to good use right? Concealer is the only makeup item that I haven’t found a holy grail in, so I figured I’d try the Dior out.
I’ve always had trouble picking out a concealer in the past because I usually buy the wrong color or I experience some irritation. I know there are a million different concealers out there that I could have chosen from, but honestly, I really wanted to buy a designer/luxury brand this time.
Needless to say, I LOVE this concealer, as I do most of the items that I tend to purchase and blog about on here. The best thing about this concealer, in my opinion, is that the applicator is a wand! This is a huge win for me because I am not a fan of squeeze applicators at all.
Also, the consistency is creamy and you don’t really need a lot at all. I can wear it all day without any creasing and of course, the tube it comes in is absolutely gorgeous! I can’t exactly go into too much detail about a concealer, but I do really like it so far. I’m not sure if it’ll be my holy grail, but we’ll just have to see and experiment with others to find out.
I hope this was a good read for you guys. I am a little foggy due to being in a serious food coma right now, so I hope this post made any kind of sense. Thanks for reading as always,
ChelsiKay
