Hydrating Masks for the Cold Weather
Ok, so let’s get away from fashion for a post or two. This time of year comes around and for whatever reason, I can’t stop talking about clothes. So, now we’re switching gears back into skincare. I feel like it’s been quite a while since I’ve talked about skincare so let’s get started.
As it’s getting cooler and cooler, the drier and drier it gets. The dry weather brings along dry skin, hair, fingernails and so on. I have a couple of hydrating masks that I like to use so that my skin doesn’t dry out during the cool/cold months.
One of my favorite hydrating masks is Farmacy’s Honey Potion. I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this product in a previous post at some point. I love that this mask has a warming effect once you apply it.
I like to use this mask in the morning before applying my makeup so that I have a nice supple, moisturized canvas. I only have a sample of this mask, but I would love to get my hands on this bad boy one of these days.
Of course, I like to mix it up, between, honey and roses. Fresh makes a nice hydrating mask that is infused with real rose petals. I like this mask specifically because it tones my skin. Honestly, I love any skincare product that has rose in it because I really do feel that it helps our skin.
I like to use this mask when my skin is feeling irritated but is also dry. I know better than to use some sort of clay or charcoal mask on dry skin because it irritates it even more. I always say…the more gentle, the better. After using this mask, my skin just looks brighter and more radiant. I also only have a sample size of this mask; I’m not sure if I would buy the full size of this product just yet.
So these are the masks that I like to use for when I have dry and/or dehydrated skin. I know that since winter is around the corner, I’ll be pulling these babies out more often.
What hydrating masks do you all use?
