Sweater Dresses for Fall

Once again, welcome back to Fashion Fridays. Today’s Fashion Friday will be a little bit different than my normal outfit share. Today I’m just going to show you all this recent purchase that I think is an amazing addition to my fall/winter capsule and my wardrobe in general.

The other day, I was on the hunt for sweater dresses. There are SO many options out there right now due to the current season being fall. Now, I didn’t want to be too cheap about my choice because I would want my dresses to last me a few years; not just a season. I ended up deciding on two sweater dresses – one for now, one for later.

The sweater dress, for now, is a nice soft lighter sweater material that is perfect for those cool to warm to cool days. The sweater dress for later is a cashmere turtleneck option that is pretty much guaranteed to keep me warm during the cold winter.  I was thinking of even adding another heavier knit option just to have another extra option. We will see about that though.

I ended up with a black sweater dress with one single white stripe across the sleeves and bodice. This dress screams “me!

I knew this was a good purchase of $85 because I began to daydream of the different ways I was going to wear this dress. This is why I love fall. You can buy such a simple item and layer it in so many different ways as well as change from sneakers to boots and your outfit is different every time.

The cashmere sweater dress that I want is from Everlane and retails at $155. So…I am definitely waiting on that one for awhile. If I do so happen to find a chunky knit sweater dress I will be sure to showcase it on here :).

That’s it for today! Talk to you guys next week!
