TULA Skincare Review
Ok so I honestly didn’t think this review was coming so soon, but the results came so much sooner than expected.
Two weeks ago, I ordered from Tula.com – the probiotic skin care brand and it arrived sometime last week. Of course, I started using it as soon as it arrived and I instantly saw a difference.
The week I began using the product I had a few little pimples and some hormonal acne on my chin that cleared up the next morning. The two products that I ordered were the Illuminating Face Serum and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream. I got the travel sized version simply because I believe trying things out before purchasing the big daddy versions.
So after I’m done washing and toning my face morning and night, I apply the serum and then the moisturizer. The illuminating serum is a little bit misleading because it comes out as a cream, but then kind of melts into a serum like consistency. It’s very lightweight and instantly brightens your skin tone. I’m not a fan of the smell because it has a slight chemical like odor.
Here’s a little blurb about the illuminating serum:
“This lightweight serum expertly targets dark spots, hyper pigmentation, and dull skin, revealing a youthful glow and brightened complexion.”
The Hydrating Day & Night Cream is just what I was looking for in a moisturizer. It’s lightweight, yet buildable and smells pretty good. I absolutely love using this at night because I can always apply more in case my skin gets dry while I sleep. Now here’s a little blurb about the Hydrating Day & Night Cream:
“Delivering deep hydration to soothe dull skin, this luxurious, nourishing cream reveals an even, glowing, age-defying complexion.”
Obviously, each product is infused with a probiotic ingredient that has the ability to restore your skin’s natural balance, which helps skin to look healthy and clear. The probiotic strain that seems to be used in the majority of their line is Bifida Ferment Lysate.
If it hasn’t been clear by now, I really like these products so far. I especially like the serum and moisturizer together because I feel that it’s the perfect base before makeup even without a primer.
Only wearing eye makeup
The prices of the full sized products are like most skin care lines…not exactly expensive, but not cheap either. The Illuminating Serum retails at $78 and the Hydrating Day & Night Cream retails at $52. Okay, so maybe that’s not that affordable, but luckily they have the travel-sized versions that you can always purchase if need be. The travel sized serum and cream are sold together and it’s only $38!
So, I will continue to use these and keep you guys updated of any problems, breakthroughs or even concerns. I would like to get my hands on the mask and face mist at some point. Thanks for reading!
