Welcome to D.C., Ladurée
About two weeks ago Ladurée opened up in Georgetown, D.C. I think we all know that that is a blogger’s paradise. I’m honestly not one to be attracted to places like that other than the macarons of course. However, I really enjoyed my time at the Parisian tea room. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the décor because it was so bright and different from other places in D.C. I plan to go again, so I’ll take more pictures next time.
Since I consider myself kind of a foodie (how pretentious of me) I mainly took photos of the food and the way it was presented. So I’m not great at French so I’m going to just say what I got in English. I ordered boiled eggs over toast and truffle potato bites.
The food was so fresh and flavorful but that was to be expected from a place like this! Of course, I had to get some macarons, not to be confused with macaroons. I was surprised because Olivia Macaron tastes so similar to the Ladurée macarons. If you like Ladurée macarons then you’ll like Olivia’s too.
So, not only did they open a location in Georgetown they opened one in Union Station as well. It’s a small little kiosk that can almost barely be seen, but it’s there! So that’s all today. I thought I would take you on a small journey into D.C. life! Oh and let me just include my outfit and then I’m signing off!
