Finally, Glossier.
Today I decided to be proactive and start blogging a little bit earlier than normal, especially since it’s going to be a busy day for me. Today I’m celebrating my best friend’s birthday. She has a blog too called thelavendersmile. So instead of completely neglecting my schedule and you guys, I thought why not just get a head start and post early?!
Most Friday’s, I don’t have too much to talk about unless of course, I’ve planned something in advance. Today isn’t really a planned post but I do want to talk about my purchase from Glossier.
I have no idea what took me SO long to buy anything from them, but the day has finally come. This, of course, isn’t a review, because I JUST got the products yesterday and I’ve only used one of them.
Glossier is a brand that stands for pretty much everything I am about! It minimal, clean, no nonsense, still fun, quirky, and of course aesthetically pleasing! I have used their skin tint and it is a little too lightweight for my hyperpigmented skin, but one of these days I will ONLY be able to do lightweight.
Anyway, onto the purchases. I will do a review on these products very soon…I have a long list of products to review already!
So I had to get the Glossier Boy Brow in black because 1. It’s a bestseller and 2. It makes everyone’s eyebrows look natural and filled in instantly! I think everyone should have a little bit of boy brow in their makeup kit and I haven’t even used it yet! I’ve seen countless videos on YouTube of people using this brow gel and it’s a hit. The tube should be a whole lot bigger for the price. I’m not usually one to complain too much about price, but the Boy Brow is pretty small. At $16 they could definitely make the tube a bit wider. It does seem to be the only product that is that small as well as the only product you’ll need to buy over and over again. There’s gotta be a method to their madness.
I was not supposed to be buying skincare this month, but I really couldn’t resist. So I kind of tweaked my no buying skincare month into purchasing from Sephora. I am in Sephora at least 3 to 4 times a month and I ALWAYS buy something skincare related. Anyway, I had to get my hands onto the Glossier Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc serum. Apparently, niacinamide and zinc are supposed to help with inflammation that accompanies acne. Well, guess who has acne prone skin and lots of skin inflammation? This girl. So it was almost written in the stars that I had to buy this serum. I already like it because it goes on your skin like water!
So, I think that I’ll really like both of these products and I’ll probably purchase some other ones later on. I couldn’t make this post too long, but I did want to get it up for you all nice and early!
Comment if you’ve tried Glossier and tell me what your favorite product is!
