The Monochromatic Outfit of the Day

Normally I don’t ever get the Monday Blues, but today I am just still so tired from the weekend. I didn’t even do much except go out to dinner with my girls and hang out with my boyfriend. I apologize if this post isn’t as energetic as my others. With that being said, Happy Monday everybody!

I really really love the color gray. When you think about it gray is such a dull and pretty boring color, but for some reason I just love it. The majority of my sweaters are gray with the exception of maybe two or three.

I think I just find gray to be a really classic sexy color that makes an outfit look so sophisticated. I’m happy to say that I’ve come a long way from wearing only black. I’m aware that gray is just a light version of black, but hey, baby steps right? I don’t think I’ll ever get out of the habit of wearing neutral colors because they’re just too easy to dress and make life much more simple.

The other day I washed my cashmere sweater by hand in this lanolin soap that I purchased off of Amazon. As most of you know, I wear the hell out of this sweater due to its softness and comfort. I didn’t think this sweater could get any softer, but once I washed it in that soap – the softness factor went way up.

My sweater doesn’t cover my booty when I wear leggings. I know that for some, this is a big turn off when it comes to styling an outfit. I think most of you know that I live in leggings and wear them whether my shirt covers “things” or not. The leggings I wear are thick enough to not show any panty lines or even unwanted protrusions – so I’m really not tripping at all. That’s really for another post, though. 🙂

My Sweater Coat. My Coatigan. My Longline Sweater. Whatever you want to call it, it is also gray and extremely stylish in my opinion. I’m all grayed out. Yes, that’s my little Yorkie-Poodle who is actually not a puppy, but 11 years old. If someone wants pictures taken of them, then she is going to find a way to photo bomb you. It’s really all about her and would you look at that…she’s gray too!
