Foodie Friday’s

I’ve been away for a few weeks trying to figure out what to post on here. I’m not sure if it’s better to post something that has nothing to do with the blog or post nothing at all. I am definitely still working on the kinks of this blog, but I have to thank those who are still following.

Who knew that posting food on a blog would be one of my favorite things to do. So here goes another Foodie Friday! Theres not as many pictures this week, but the food still looks great. IMG_3335

  1. Doesn’t this look amazing? It most definitely was! I lived in Korea (due to the military) for two years and ate endless amounts of Korean food. To this day, Korean food is one of my favorite cuisines. In the states it can be hard to find especially the authentic kind. One of my friend’s coworkers is Korean and found a place that was spot on give or take a few spices here or there. The meat in the very middle is samgyeopsal which is sliced pork belly meat. I wish I could remember the rest of the names, but that was the one that I promised myself to not forget!
  2. I love drinks that look glamorous like this. The drink was almost too pretty to actually drink, but trust me I did.  This name of the drink is La Suprema. It has reposado tequila, cointreau, gran marnier, lime, and agave. It was a drink that you definitely sip or else.
  3.  I try to mix in food that I cook on here as much as possible, but it doesn’t usually come out as pretty. I was craving tacos one day and decided to give it a try. I’m a big fan of authentic tacos that aren’t super Americanized but just a little. As you can see, I used corn tortillas, corn, (I wanted rice) cheese, homemade pico de gallo, black beans, and chicken. I was so surprised when I took my first bite, because it tasted so good and fresh. It tasted almost exactly like the ones I get from this place called La Sandia. Seriously I was shocked!

That’s all this time! I hope to do another Foodie Friday next Friday, but we will see. Thanks for reading.
