My Weekend Shenanigans

Okay, so my post didn’t go up on Friday…or Saturday….or Sunday. I know I’m such a bad blogger and I need to redeem myself somehow. I guess I should tell you all how I got so sidetracked and ended up having three long days in a row.

Also, I forgot to mention in my last blog post that I made it to 100 followers on here!! I never expected anyone to actually read this blog, but am so glad and grateful that people do! I would love to do some type of a giveaway sometime soon, but I would need to work out those logistics first. So thanks for following and reading my blog you guys, I really appreciate it! Now back to the post!

Friday I was out with my parents all day. I was already a bit under the weather because I am a girl and you know how that goes…ahem. My plan was to stay in bed and watch YouTube videos all day, but that wouldn’t have been very productive. So instead I began editing a video at a coffee shop somewhere in D.C. After that, my mom and I went to Sephora and there I got my hands on the Josie Maran Argan Skincare Ritual Set. So far, I really like it! Once we got home, we crashed.

Saturday was my day to stay home and just chill. I cleaned my entire room and bathroom. I moved some furniture around and did some more video editing so that I could upload. I guess that’s my idea of chilling. My vanity is now by my window so that I have natural lighting when I do my makeup. I also filmed another video speaking on my cystic acne, which should be up today or tomorrow. I tried to get a blog post up about leggings, in fact, being pants but I got really sidetracked. Maybe that’ll be up later this week as well.

Sunday is the day all of my cleaning paid off. I moved two of my Ikea PAX closets out of my room. I wasn’t a big fan of the shoe racks that accompanied the PAX, so I decided to create a different kind of shoe closet. Once the two closets were out of my room, I put up two LACK shelves. The shelves gave me the blues because they don’t come with the screws that you need to anchor to the wall. However, the shelves made it up on the wall and the space looks amazing to me. Now I just need to get some better shoes!

So that’s what kept me away from my blog this weekend. I know I still could have gotten something up, but my mind just wasn’t working correctly. I’m glad I at least got all the stuff I needed to get done and got a post up today. Thanks for reading!
